I completed this traditional watercolour landscape today. I had done this same view a couple of years ago and sold it fairly recently to a lady whose daughter liked it so much she claimed it for herself. So the lady asked if I could paint something similar. I went over to Walberswick (near Southwold, Suffolk) and photographed this view to work from. It's surprising how my style has changed in between creating the two paintings. I also use different materials now so the two paintings are each quite unique. By the way, by clicking on any image you will see a large version if you wish to see more detail.
