Soul Mates

This one took a while! I used my coloured pencils and Bristol board for this. I found some fantastic tutorials by artist Christina Langman inspired me to try a slightly different technique and go for what for me is a fairly major project. The Bristol is really hard to work on with CP as the surface is so smooth it's difficult to create the depth. So I have to burnish it to within an inch of it's life to get what I want. The advantage is that you can achieve immense detail. However I think my next CP piece will be on the more conventional Stonehenge paper or mountboard.
