Aldeburgh Beach at Dusk

A bit of a tiddler this one at 14.5 x 6.25 inches (pencil on Stonehenge paper) but only took me about 6 hours. Once framed it will go in my little show in the Jubilee Hall in Aldeburgh as part of the craft fair later this month on 23rd.24th October.

Apologies if you get this message twice Peter ... Google Chrome crashed part way through me previous message ..

I think I said something like ..

Size doesn't matter (allegedly)!! this is very atmospheric.

I haven't done any graphite work for quite a while but I tend to use Mellotex paper (the super white version) .. have you used Mellotex and how do you rate it against Stonehenge for graphite?

Can't be of much help I'm afraid Sue, having never used it. I used to just use cartridge papers before I got more serious. I was then advised to try Bristol board and the Stonehenge, both of which I instantly took to (for different purposes) and I haven't felt the need to experiment with anything else. I'll be interested to hear how you get on though.
