Thorpeness Panarama

The next in a series of local views I am gradually getting together with my next big exhibition in mind at the Cinema Gallery in Aldeburgh at Easter. This is the view of Thorpeness Meare Shop and Tea Rooms by the boating lake, from my own photograph taken from the road on my way in to Aldeburgh.

This drawing measures 21 x 8 inches done in pencil on Stonehenge paper. I think this view has such a classically good composition that, even though there is so much going on in the picture, I think it works well.
