Knots Landing

'Knots Landing' is one of the most detailed and complicated paintings I have done to date. Depicting a scene which could be found near any Suffolk beach. A tangled mass of ropes and other assorted fishing paraphernalia, providing a backdrop to a seagull perched on an old timber beam.

It has been created with watercolour on Arches Aquarelle paper to a total size of about 30 x 23 inches including the mount and frame. Based on a photograph from the Paint My Photo website.
